My First School Project in Primary School

My research subject was the platypus, not the other animal

I am not good at writing but here I go...!

A bright day, my teacher started cutting animal line art characters that were embedded on paper. She placed all the animal characters into the transparent box; then she proceeded to let each student pick a random animal from the box - we weren't allowed to see inside it.

My teacher went in front of each student as they chose an animal, it was finally my turn when I chose the platypus. Suddenly these two students (I think they were amali & Willi - I wrote half of their first name to protect their privacy) went to me and begged me for the platypus project.

I said no though because I liked how the animal looked. (Did you know platypus had poisonous claw?) The classmates also said: "please excuse us for bullying you in the past". I haven't heard of that sentence, I guess even bullies were self-aware.

The worst part of this scenario is that amali asked the teacher if she could choose the same project as me.
